This is exactly what I wanted. It is a deep purple (very close in color to the picture). Very soft. And it is a great deal. 7 pieces for less than $100! I would recommend this to anyone who loves purple. It's great for a room- not too loud/obnoxious but not so dark you can't tell really what color it is. I love it.
